Dear Cutters Membership,
We are pleased to announce that our club will be beginning a new partnership with the organization formerly known as Indiana Fire – which will now be operating as the Indy Eleven Academy. This new name recognizes a strengthening of the partnership and the next logical progression in the collaborative relationship Indiana’s most prominent professional team.
While other clubs are changing some of their branding to align themselves more closely to Indy Eleven, Cutters Soccer Club has opted not to change branding at this time. Cutters Soccer Club will continue operating as an independent organization, as will Alliance and SCSA.
As an Indy Eleven Academy (IEA) affiliate, Cutters Soccer Club will begin having access to various services, including but not limited to:
Player opportunities and attrition to IEA programs such as MLSNext and ECNL
Coaching development, education and curriculum development
Showcase and Friendlies access, coordination, and consultation
Per Phil Presser, technical director for the Indy Eleven Academy:
“The idea is to have every child put on a jersey that points them to our only professional club in Indiana. The passion and ambition this gives players to someday play for or be a part of the professional soccer community is extremely important to us.”
As the landscape of soccer in Indiana continues to grow – we are excited to continue this partnership and provide opportunities for our members and coaches.
Best Regards,
Tommy Grav
President, Cutters Soccer Club
