Tommy Grav, VP of community, Nomination Committee

Greetings to all our Cutters Families. Daylight Savings Time is here and spring should be following soon, and with spring cometh the spring season for our community program at Karst Park. We start  our spring community on April Fool’s day, Saturday Apr 1st, with our U6 Girls and U6  Boys. Practices for our U8 and older starts the following week of April 3rd with the first games taking place on Saturday, April 8th. Our youngest kids, the U5 Coed teams, start on Saturday, Apr 15th. The season will run for 8 weeks until May 20th. So far we have almost 500 kids signed up, and we are looking forward to seeing you all out having fun in the sun (hopefully). If your kid is not signed up and would like to join please check out https://www.cutterssoccer.org/springrec for more information to get your kid involved. With this many kids we are always looking for additional trainers and volunteer coaches. So if you have some experience playing or coaching soccer and would like to help us out for the spring season please contact us at director@cutterssoccer.org.

If being a trainer or coach is not your cup of tea, but you are still burning to help make Cutters the best community that it can be, we are also looking for volunteers that help with our special events. As our annual board election is coming up in May, we are also looking for a handful of dedicated people to join our board to help guide the club into a future. Our annual nominating committee, consisting of Tommy Grav (VP of Community), Nat Delafield (VP of Travel), Michele Kelmer (Secretary), Jared Edgeworth (At Large), and Ruben Morales (Cutters Family) is currently assembling a slate of candidates for the election. If you have suggestions for someone that you think would be a great candidate for the board or if you are interested in joining the board yourself, please make contact with Tommy Grav (tgrav@me.com) or our Executive Director Louis Malone (director@cutterssoccer.org).
