Tire Rack is involved in a number of programs across the country that focus on driving. A few of these programs are BMW CCA Club Racing, SCCA-Sports Car Club of America, SCCA Track Night in America, and Street Survival. Street Survival is a teen driving school. Its aim is to reduce deadly crashes involving teenagers by providing a controlled setting where they can gain invaluable experience in control in a track setting with a knowledgeable coach at their side.
Interesting facts about Peter Veldman’s family. Two of his children, Marsha, and Mark, live in the Bloomington area. Both Marsha and Mark were a large part of the local adult soccer scene for many years. Mark’s children played in the Cutters’ programs. Marsha was for years the Coordinator for the Bloomington Farmers’ Market and Mark is an executive with Tire Rack.
