We would like to welcome Carl Salzmann as the new Director of Coaching and Player Development for Cutters soccer.  Carl has coached for Cutters since 2009 and was the head coach for the men’s team at Edgewood High School from 2008-2016. Carl has a United States Soccer Federations National Youth license, USSF National D license, and a DOC license.

"Carl has been an important part of the Cutters family for the last 13 years. He has proven himself as a level-headed, strategic and knowledgable coach that embodies the Cutters values whole-heartedly. He is the right person for the job and we at Cutters are excited to see our players grow under his vision and guidance," Mike Grubb, President of the Cutters Board of Directors.

Soccer is also a big part of Carl’s family as well.  His wife Emily, who is a local attorney, is a lifelong soccer fan who serves on the Cutters Board.   Carl’s daughter, Ella, is a U6 with the Cutters community program and his son Cas is  very eager to start U5 community this fall!

If you see Carl at the fields we encourage you to say hi and ask about the future of Cutters soccer. Just be aware, he will talk soccer for hours if you let him.
